As a mother of three, two of them being young men now, I personally understand the challenges that come with trying to provide the best education to our children. My growing pains in dealing with the struggle to get my two oldest children through elementary and high school taught me that I could not depend on the school system alone to properly educate my children. Even more than that, I realized there were some important skills my kids would never be taught in school and that I would need to take responsibility and teach them, like general life skills of writing a check, budgeting, how to purchase a home, or how to start a business.
Since accounting and finance was always of interest to me it would be easy for me to take my children under my care and teach them all I could so they could grow up to be confident in their decision making for their own lives. However, many parents do not have this ability and therefore, K.E.Y.A. Foundation’s programs are critically important.
