Our Story
The K.E.Y.A. Foundation was organized in 2003 by our founder, Kristal Stevenson. The need to have programs available that would assist in developing “life skills” that were not being taught in schools was the primary ignitor to our organization’s creation. Mrs. Stevenson believed that other choices should be made available for young adults who did not want to follow the traditional way of life – “go to school to get a good job.” There were kids who wanted to create their own job and use their talents to possibly even change the world. These children deserved a place that would feed their hunger for financial independence through entrepreneurship, and so The K.E.Y.A. Foundation was born!
